FAQs

What is the maximum measurement capacity?

This digital hand dynamometer measures hand grip strength up to 265 lb / 120 kg. It does not determine your age or diagnose a health condition.

What can I use this tester for?

Use it to record grip strength readings and compare results alongside your fitness or grip-training routine.

Is a carrying case included?

This is the standard package. For a carrying case, choose the separate dynamometer-with-case package.

Is this a grip tester or a resistance trainer?

This product is a digital grip strength tester. Use it to take readings; it is not an adjustable-resistance training gripper. Follow the supplied manual for measurement.

How should I compare readings?

Record the hand tested, handle setting and result. Keep the testing setup consistent when comparing sessions, and follow the supplied manual.

What does the adjustment knob change?

The knob changes the grip spacing so you can adjust the handle fit. It does not change training resistance.

What is included?

One digital hand dynamometer, one user manual and two AAA batteries are included.

Does it come with batteries?

Yes. Two AAA batteries are included, so the dynamometer is ready to use right out of the box.

Where can I find setup and use instructions?

Refer to the user manual included with the dynamometer for setup, measurement and care instructions.

How do I switch between lbs and kg?

Simply press the unit button on the control panel to switch between pounds (lbs) and kilograms (kg) before starting your test.

How do I read the test result?

The backlit LCD displays the grip strength result. Select lb or kg and follow the manual for the measurement procedure.
